Maurten Drink Mix 160 is a hydrogel sports drink mix that covers carbs and hydration in one bottle for long, steady runs, rides and hot days. Shake it, sip it and forget about it: neutral taste, light on the stomach and happy to work all day.
Drink Mix 160 is made for longer, lower-intensity training and racing, and it earns its keep in heat and humidity when you need fluid as much as fuel. Expect a neutral taste, not a candy-coloured sports drink. Mixed with water it's a liquid, then it turns into a hydrogel in the stomach, which Maurten says helps reduce that sloshing feeling.
Shake one sachet into a bottle of water until there are no lumps, and drink it before, during or after your session. Going harder?
