The Saucony Echelon 9 is a roomy, max-cushioned neutral running shoe for daily miles, walks and all-day comfort. A pure comfort shoe with a steady, confidence-boosting ride, it’s made for anyone who wants a little extra kindness underfoot.
Who the Echelon 9 is for
Runners and walkers who need space and comfort will love how easy it is to wear. A thicker bed of the new PWRRUN formula cushions with less weight, the straight-lasted shape gives generous volume from heel to toe, and the thick PU sockliner adds comfort and removes to fit orthotics. The seamless marled mesh upper feels smooth, a rubber outsole wraps the midfoot for support, and it’s APMA certified, vegan and made with recycled materials.
Expect a true-to-size fit with a wide, high-volume shape that makes it easy to use with orthotics. This is the X-Wide version; it also comes in standard width and Wide. Coming from the Echelon 8? The 9 has a completely updated ride, with more toe spring, heel bevelling and a thicker layer of softer PWRRUN foam. Want the newest version? The Echelon 10 adds an updated one-piece engineered mesh upper.
