The Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 is a nylon-plated road running shoe for tempo runs, track nights and race day. Light, snappy and seriously fun, it’s the shoe that makes workout day the best day of the week.
Who the Endorphin Speed 5 is for
Built for the runners who live for workout day. Hot laps at the track, tempo Tuesdays and dropping the run club on the last rep: the nylon plate gives a snappy, propulsive toe-off, while two layers of PWRRUN PB keep it bouncy rather than harsh. Lightweight engineered mesh holds you in at speed, and an outsole with expanded heel coverage and a full-length groove keeps transitions smooth when the pace gets spicy.
We find the Speed 5 runs about a half size small, so we usually recommend going up a half size. Coming from the Endorphin Speed 4? The 5 gets a new engineered mesh upper and a reconfigured outsole. Saving it for race day only? Look at the Endorphin Pro 5 or Endorphin Elite 3.
