The Saucony Guide 17 is a cushioned stability running shoe for daily runs, workouts and casual wear. Stable without feeling corrective, it’s a trusty everyday partner for runners who want a little support and a lot of comfort.
Who the Guide 17 is for
Runners who want stability that feels natural rather than corrective. It was the first Guide with CenterPath Technology, a broader platform with higher sidewalls and an asymmetric profile that guides your stride, and a PWRRUN+ sockliner sits on a stack of PWRRUN cushioning for step-in comfort. The redesigned upper wraps your foot securely, and it’s vegan with recycled materials.
In our fittings, the Guide 17 is true to size with a roomy forefoot. This is the Wide version; it also comes in standard width. Coming from the Guide 16? The 17 was a full redesign, with more PWRRUN cushioning, the new CenterPath platform and a lower heel drop for more natural movement. Want more cushioning? The Guide 18 adds even more PWRRUN.
