The Altra Lone Peak 9 is a zero-drop trail running shoe for technical terrain, long runs, ultras and thru-hiking. It's the classic Altra trail shoe, the one that turns 'just one more kilometre' into a full day out on the trail.
Who the Lone Peak 9 is for
For trail runners and hikers who want dependable comfort without losing their feel for the trail. A recycled ripstop mesh upper with no-sew overlays is built for high mileage, and the MaxTrac outsole gives sticky grip on dirt, rock and damp sections when the singletrack gets messy. The updated Altra EGO midsole feels lighter underfoot while keeping the cushioned but connected ride Lone Peak fans love.
We find it true to size, with Altra's roomiest Original FootShape toe box and a snug midfoot. This is the Wide version; it also comes in standard width. Coming from the Lone Peak 8?
