The Altra Lone Peak Hiker 3 is a zero-drop hiking shoe for trails, gravel paths and everyday adventures. From the trail to the taproom, it's lightweight, grippy and just as happy in the parking lot as it is out on the dirt.
Who the Lone Peak Hiker 3 is for
For hikers who want ankle support and the classic Lone Peak feel without a heavy boot. A soft polyester mesh vamp with suede overlays, an air-mesh heel collar for a secure, breathable fit and a rubberized toe cap for protection make it ready for dirt, gravel and everything after. Underfoot, a lighter Altra EGO midsole adds comfort and ground connection, and the MaxTrac outsole gives a stickier grip.
Our customers find it true to size with a roomy, high-volume fit and no break-in, though narrow feet may want to go down a half size, and it isn't waterproof. Coming from the Lone Peak Hiker 2? The 3 gets new upper tooling for a softer feel, a redesigned heel collar and toe cap, a stickier outsole and lighter midsole foam. Need waterproofing? Try the Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Mid.
