Precision Fuel & Hydration PF 30 Caffeine Gel is a caffeinated energy gel that pairs fast carbs with a caffeine kick for the tough back half of a race or hard session. PF&H says it skips the bitterness many caffeine gels have, keeping the same mild Original flavour as the regular gel.
It suits marathons, long tempo runs and race days where you want a lift just as focus starts to fade. The texture is jelly-like rather than syrupy, designed to feel less sticky so you're not desperate to rinse it down. Like the regular gel, the carbs come from a maltodextrin and fructose blend, with the carb number printed right on the front for easy planning.
Take one during exercise when you want the boost, with water or your electrolyte drink, since it carries no electrolytes of its own. Want it without caffeine? Grab PF Gel, also available as a jumbo pouch and a Flow Gel. Coming from the regular PF 30 Gel? Same flavour and feel, plus caffeine.
