The La Sportiva Prodigio is a max-cushioned trail running shoe for long runs and ultras on groomed trails and roads. Light, smooth-rolling and responsive, it's built for runners who want to move fast and efficiently over long distances.
Who the Prodigio is for
For runners piling up long kilometres on buffed-out trails and road connectors who want comfort without losing pace. The XFlow midsole is a nitrogen-infused supercritical EVA foam with a soft, lively ride and plenty of energy return, while a progressive rocker and wide footbed make rolling through each stride feel stable. A breathable engineered knit dries fast in wet conditions, the Big-Hand midfoot wrap locks you in, and a full-length Flowfilm insert protects your foot and the midsole from rocks.
Most runners find it about a half size small, so we recommend sizing up a half. Want the newer version? The Prodigio 2 is lighter and more breathable, with more stability on technical terrain. Need even more cushion for the really long stuff? Try the Prodigio Max.
