Petzl R1 Battery

The Petzl R1 Battery is the rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack for Petzl's NAO RL headlamp, made to be carried as a spare for ultras and long night runs. It is the simplest way to stretch a big night out, because a fresh battery beats nursing the last bar of charge.

It suits ultrarunners, night racers and anyone whose runs outlast a single charge. It charges by USB-C, so topping up after a run is as easy as plugging in your phone. On the NAO RL, REACTIVE LIGHTING already stretches every charge by adjusting brightness to the conditions, and a second R1 takes care of the rest.

It is made for the Nao RL Headlamp, where the battery rides at the back of your head for balanced weight. Racing through the night? Carry a second one and swap it in at an aid station without missing a beat.
