Petzl Swift RL Headlamp

The Petzl Swift RL Headlamp is an ultra-powerful rechargeable headlamp with REACTIVE LIGHTING, built for fast, committing missions after dark like trail running, ski touring and mountaineering. A sensor reads the ambient light and adjusts brightness for you, so your eyes stay on the trail instead of the button.

It suits runners and skiers who want big power in a compact lamp, on an ultra-thin split headband that barely registers once you are moving. The mixed beam covers both close-up footing and distance, a quick double tap gives a short boost for tricky ground, and red lighting comes continuous or strobe. Petzl says the battery keeps most of its performance in the cold, which matters on winter starts.

The comfort foam pops out to save weight, and the band is washable and replaceable with the Swift RL Headband. Want rear-battery balance for ultras? The Nao RL Headlamp is the bigger trail-running flagship.
