Have a question?
The Black Diamond Carbide Tech Tips are replacement carbide pole tips that add bite on ice and other hard, slippery surfaces, sold as a pair. Fresh carbide means your poles plant with confidence instead of skating across frozen trail.
They suit winter runners and hikers, and anyone who has worn their original tips down on rock. The carbide point digs into ice and hard ground for durable, secure performance, and the interchangeable Tech Tip design swaps on in moments. They fit Black Diamond trekking poles from Spring 2012 onward and all Z-Poles.
They do not fit First Strike, Trail Back, Syncline or Trail Explorer 3 poles. Spending more time on pavement or slickrock? The Black Diamond Rubber Tech Tips are the quiet, non-marking option.
