Description
The Topo Athletic Terraventure 5 is a low-drop, rock-plated trail running shoe for technical terrain, daily trail miles and hiking. Tough, grippy and close to the ground, it's the pick for runners who like to feel the trail but still want protection when things get gritty.
Who the Terraventure 5 is for
Made for rugged singletrack, scree and rooty climbs where you want to feel every foot plant. The low-cushion ZipFoam platform balances flexibility and ground feel, a forefoot rock plate takes the sting out of sharp rocks, and a Vibram Megagrip outsole grips on all kinds of surfaces. The durable woven mesh upper is gaiter compatible, and the FKT insole drains water quickly when the creek crossings start piling up.
It can run slightly short, so we recommend going up a half size if you're between sizes. Need more room? It also comes in Wide. Coming from the Terraventure 4? The 5 has a narrower midfoot and heel and adds the FKT insole. Want more cushion for long days on technical ground? Try the MTN Racer 4.
