The Topo Athletic Ultraventure 5 GTX is a waterproof, cushioned trail running shoe for wet trails, road-to-trail routes and hiking. It takes the plush, easygoing Ultraventure 5 and wraps it in GORE-TEX, so puddles, slush and soggy shoulder-season mornings stop being a reason to stay home.
Who the Ultraventure 5 GTX is for
For runners and hikers who live where the trails stay wet for half the year and still want cushioning that lasts all day. The ride is plush and protective on mild to moderate terrain, and a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit upper keeps your feet dry. ZipFoam cushions every step, an OrthoLite Performance insole adds step-in comfort, and Vibram Megagrip rubber grips on wet and dry surfaces.
Topo's roomy toe box lets your toes spread out, with a secure midfoot and heel. It also works with Topo's universal gaiter system. Prefer it without the membrane? Try the Ultraventure 5, also in Wide.
