The Raide Research Trail Tech Short for women is a short-inseam, lined trail running short with five built-in pockets for carrying hydration and fuel without a vest. It ships with a locking-cap Hydrapak soft flask, and the storage sits at your glutes and high hips, where it stays put kilometre after kilometre.
It's made for long trail runs, ultras and hot days when you'd rather leave the vest at home, and Raide built it after getting frustrated with shorts that couldn't carry water and food in a stable way. Two large pockets, two gel pockets and a zippered pocket keep things bounce-free, and hidden elastic loops hold poles, an ice axe or a spare layer. Toray DotAir fabric, a laser-perforated waistband with internal drawstring and a silicone grip at the liner hem keep it comfortable on long, hot trail days.
