Have a question?
The Hydrapak UltraFlask+ 500ml Filter Kit is a soft flask with a screw-on water filter, so you can fill up from a creek and drink straight from the flask on trail runs and long hikes. It is a light, pocket-sized way to stop rationing water between taps.
It suits ultra runners and fastpackers covering ground where streams outnumber aid stations. The hollow fibre filter removes E. coli and parasitic cysts including Giardia and Cryptosporidium, according to Hydrapak, and the flask compresses as you drink. You can also use the filter to fill a bottle or reservoir when one flask is not enough. Hydrapak rates the filter for about 1,500 litres, at a flow rate of more than 1 litre per minute.
The flask is shaped to fit vest pockets with a secure grip and a large opening for easy filling. Want to filter into other 42mm bottles too? Look at the 42mm Filter Cap. Just need a plain water flask? Try the SoftFlask Speed 500ml.
