DESCRIPTION
Interested in running, but don’t know where to start? Welcome to our Very Beginner Running Clinic!
One 3-hour session with other Very Beginners will give you the confidence to join a run club, sign up for a race, go for a jog whenever you feel like it or all of those fun things!
Prerequisites: None, just register and show up! You don’t even need to bring running shoes, as we have demo shoes from Saucony available. We will be outside for about 60 minutes total, so dress for the weather.
We’ll cover everything you need to know to get started in the world of running! This is a jam-packed session with room for Q&A
Outside Session Includes (On road only):
- Warm Up – Dynamic stretching, drills and brisk walk
- Group run/walk - Run for 1 minute, then walk for 2 minutes. We will do that 5 times. Easy! ;)
- Cool Down & Stretch

Learn about basic training principles so you don’t injure yourself. We’ll do a group warm-up and cool-down with stretching. We’ll chat about strength and mobility with some sample exercises. You’ll be able to ask all the questions you can think of. You’ll leave with resources, knowledge, confidence and wanting a shower.
