The Altra Lone Peak 9+ is a zero-drop trail running shoe for technical terrain, long runs, ultras and hiking. Grounded, grippy and tough, it's the trail classic that makes sketchy terrain feel a whole lot more manageable.
Who the Lone Peak 9+ is for
For trail runners who want to feel the ground and trust their footing when it gets steep, wet or loose. A Vibram Megagrip outsole with an updated tread pattern locks in on wet rock, loose gravel and muddy corners, so you can let it rip on the descents. No-sew overlays and a recycled ripstop mesh upper are built for high mileage, and a lighter Altra EGO midsole keeps the ride comfortable and connected.
Most runners find it true to size with Altra's roomiest Original FootShape toe box, but it runs a little long, so narrow feet may want to go down a half size. Need more room? It also comes in Wide. Coming from the Lone Peak 9? The 9+ swaps MaxTrac for a Vibram Megagrip outsole with an updated tread pattern. Need it waterproof? Try the Lone Peak 9+ GTX.
