Description
The Petzl IKO Core Lamp is a lightweight, ergonomic rechargeable headlamp built around Petzl's AIRFIT headband, which spreads the lamp's weight evenly across your head. It looks a little unusual and wins people over the moment they wear it.
Petzl pitches it at trail runners, climbers and backpackers who want a light, comfortable lamp for long hours outdoors. Once it is on, that even weight distribution is the whole point, and it is easy to forget the lamp is there. Its HYBRID CONCEPT design runs on the CORE rechargeable battery or three standard AAA batteries, so you are never stuck for power.
A spare Petzl Core Battery fits it too. The IKO Core is no longer in Petzl's current range, so this is limited stock; for a running-focused rear-battery lamp, look at the Nao LT Headlamp.
