Who the Bushido III is for
Made for mountain runners who want precision on rocks, roots and scree, whether you're new to trail running or an experienced mountain runner. Slip-on construction wraps your foot like a sock without pressure points, a rock plate and TPU toe cap add protection, and the firm MEMlex midsole keeps you close to the ground. The restyled FriXion XT 2.0 outsole brings even better traction on technical terrain, so you can let it rip on the descents.
Our customers find it runs small, with the same snug, sock-like fit plus extra room through the toe box and forefoot. This is the Wide version; it also comes in standard width. Coming from the Bushido II? The III gets a new outsole and rubber compound, updated side panels for better breathability and a fresh look. Want more cushion for longer days? Try the Akasha II.
