The Altra Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Low is a zero-drop, waterproof trail shoe for hiking, long trail days and muddy routes. Damp mornings and wet forest trails become fair game in this lightweight, weather-ready take on the Lone Peak everyone already loves.
Who the Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Low is for
For hikers and trail runners who want the familiar Lone Peak feel with protection from the weather. A waterproof recycled polyester mesh upper with no-sew overlays, an overlay cage and Stoneguard underfoot protection fend off rocks, while integrated ghillie lacing and a reinforced heel lock you in. The refreshed Altra EGO midsole stays flexible and ground-connected, and the updated MaxTrac outsole grips on wet roots, loose dirt and off-camber trail.
In our fittings it's true to size with a roomy, high-volume fit, so narrow feet may want to go down a half size. Want ankle coverage? The Lone Peak 9 Waterproof Mid shares the same waterproof build. Prefer GORE-TEX and a Vibram Megagrip outsole? Try the Lone Peak 9+ GTX.
