They suit heavy sweaters, summer marathons, multi-hour trail days and anyone who'd rather not drink their electrolytes. SaltStick formulated them to closely mirror sweat losses, using a buffered salt blend in a vegetable-based capsule with no sweeteners of any kind. The formula was engineered by a PhD chemist who also races triathlon, which explains the refreshingly no-nonsense approach.
