The Black Diamond Distance Carbon FLZ Poles in Ultra Blue are the earlier version of Black Diamond's folding, adjustable carbon running and trekking pole. Stiff, light and quick to deploy, they suit runners who want carbon performance with room to tune length.
They suit ultra runners, fastpackers and mountain hikers on routes that mix steep climbs, long descents and runnable sections. A three-section carbon shaft snaps together with speed-cone deployment, and FlickLock Pro adjustment with forged aluminium hardware locks your length securely. The EVA foam grip and extension keep hands comfortable, and the breathable, moisture-wicking strap is made from recycled materials.
After the newer Glacier or Desert Sky colours? Our current Distance Carbon FLZ Poles use the updated soft-touch FlickLock+ adjuster. Happy with a fixed length? The Distance Carbon Z Poles are lighter still.
